Pacific Companies is proud to present a Hematology/Oncology opportunity within a state-of-the-art Comprehensive Cancer Center affiliated with UC San Diego. This position offers the ability to practice general oncology while developing a subspecialty focus, with particular need in GU oncology. You will join a collaborative and well-established team of eight Hematologists/Oncologists supported by a robust multidisciplinary care model. The program is backed by a nationally ranked hospital and features a modern cancer and infusion center currently undergoing a $15 million renovation. Position, Compensation & Organization Highlights 

  • Join a team of 8 Hematologists/Oncologists in a collaborative setting 
  • General oncology with opportunity to develop a GU subspecialty focus 
  • Call schedule 1:6 with plans to improve to 1:9 as the team grows 
  • Patient volume averages 18–25 patients per day with 20 new patients weekly 
  • Multidisciplinary support including NPs, PAs, RNs, MAs, and nurse navigators 
  • Tumor boards across multiple specialties including breast, lung, GI, and molecular 
  • Modern facility with 30 exam rooms and 30 infusion chairs 
  • $15 million renovation underway enhancing cancer center capabilities 
  • Additional clinics and support for complex GI oncology cases 
  • Coverage of a 463-bed not-for-profit hospital serving a 700K population
