Locum Pediatric | Oregon | 4 days/week + call

Details:

• Location: 90 min. from Portland, Oregon
• Duration: July – December (option to extend)
• Schedule: Full-time preferred
• Shift: Clinic 4 days per week – Monday-Wednesday, & Friday 7:20am-5:30pm + call
• Call: every Tuesday and 1 weekend per month, Friday-Sunday
• Scope: Pediatric clinic + call
• Clinic: Ages 017 for General Pediatrics, well child visits, acute care visits, mental health/ADHD visits
• Call: for Newborn nursery, inpatient peds, and after hours. Peds have attended at least 25 vaginal deliveries and 10 c-sections in the last 24 months (Attendance for deliveries is dependent on our OB high risk list criteria. Attendance not required if no OB co-morbidities unless OB/FBC staff concerned.)
• Clinic volume: 20 patients/day without call, 1315 patients/day on Tuesdays when on call
• Call volume: Newborn nursery (census 15/day), Inpatient Peds (0-1/day) in off chance we admit older adolescent patient to the floor, “Mommy Calls” after hours 0-10 (tend to have more in the fall/winter season
• EMR: Cerner
• Group/support: scheduling dept., clinic RN for MA triage, Separate nurse schedule for vaccine catch-up, infant weight/bili checks, ear piercings, etc., Multiple providers/MAs in clinic throughout the week
• Require: BC, Active OR license, DEA, BLS, NRP, PALS (through AHA), clean NPDB
