Pacific Companies is presenting a locum tenens Radiology opportunity in Washington, located approximately 1.5 hours from Spokane, ideal for radiologists seeking a consistent onsite assignment with procedural variety. This role offers a 6–12 month commitment with the option to extend and requires just two weeks per month, making it highly flexible for experienced providers. You’ll practice as a General Radiologist with a balanced mix of diagnostic and interventional work in a fully onsite setting. Daily volumes are robust but well-defined, with a predictable weekday schedule and no overnight responsibilities noted. The practice utilizes modern imaging platforms and Epic Radiant, supporting efficient reads and procedures. This opportunity is open to Board Certified or Board Eligible radiologists, with licensure support available for those not yet licensed in Washington.

Position Highlights

  • Location: Washington, approx. 1.5 hours from Spokane
  • Duration: 6–12 months with option to extend
  • Schedule: 2 weeks per month
  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Onsite coverage required

Clinical Scope & Volume

  • General Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology
  • Modalities: Fluoro, Ultrasound, MRI, CT
  • Daily volume: 80–110 studies
    • MRI: 10–12 per day
    • CT: ~14 per day
    • Interventions: 3–5 per day

Procedures

  • Fluoro: Myelograms (cervical, thoracic, lumbar), lumbar puncture, arthrograms, feeding tube placement, HSG
  • Ultrasound: Paracentesis, thoracentesis, drain/aspiration, FNA (thyroid, parotid, cervical lymph node), pediatric studies, hysterosonogram
  • CT: Abscess drainage, CT-guided biopsies

Technology

  • EMR: Epic (Radiant)
  • PACS: Philips

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology
  • Washington license or IMLC preferred
  • Open to assisting with licensure
